Bamboo Wall Tile
The development process included product definition, form studies, 3D CAD design, photorealistic renders, prototyping, and the technical engineering of a production mold for compression moulding. The result is a sustainable tile concept in which material innovation and aesthetics come together.
This sustainable wall tile was developed for Bambooder B.V..
The tile is composed of short bamboo fibers bound within a polymer matrix. The project aligns with their mission to apply biobased materials in sustainable, scalable products.
The tile is designed as a lightweight element suitable for both wall and ceiling applications. Its design combines a 3D relief structure with an asymmetrical geometry, allowing tiles to form dynamic patterns and modular compositions.
